Downtown Dallas, Inc. and AT&T presents City Lights 2011. City Lights kicks off with family friendly festivities at Main Street Garden (1902 Main Street) from 6 -10 p.m. Enjoy holiday sips and bites, an outdoor market, face painting, ornament making, and live music. The Lighting ceremony of Downtown's official one-of-a-kind holiday tree takes place at Main Street Garden at 7 p.m.

New this year, be prepared to be showered by lights and wonder in a surprise finale and visit from Santa! At 7:30 p.m. Join Santa and the Hardin Simmons Cowboy Band on a Promenade of Lights from Main Street Garden to AT&T Plaza (208 South Akard Street). Local merchants will have street vending, entertainment and activities to offer along the way. At 7:45 p.m. AT&T debuts its national holiday light show on the Commerce side of its national headquarters. Brighten an under privileged child's Christmas by visiting the Salvation Army Angel tree in the lobby of the AT&T Whitacre Tower.

Enjoy discounts at local restaurants, street vending, the Neiman Marcus crawl tube, & photos with Santa through out the evening.

DIRT Downtown is not your typical flower shop; it's a full service flower design studio that creates vintage-inspired masterpieces for all occasions. Sonya and Chris Edaley, DIRT owners and lead designers welcome downtown workers, residents, and visitors to their Downtown studio. They've completely redone the space, bringing out its natural beauty - the perfect backdrop for their flower creations and their vintage record player. You're welcome to choose your favorite tunes on vinyl while you pick the perfect plant or arrangement. They do weddings too!
